13th Day Of Internship At Batey Ads

I did my internship report in the office today and then I had lunch at La Manila with Rachel, JD, Rees and Brandon... it was Rachel's treat. She sent a "thank you" e-mail to each of us in the morning for helping out at the event last weekend... and then Rees replied in such a way that Rachel had no choice but to buy us lunch... hahaha... check it out:

Rachel's E-Mail:

Dear JD, Brandon, Michelle & Rees,

A "Big Thanks" to all of you for your kind assistance during our just concluded "Road Safety Campaign" at KL Central!!!

JD... thanks for transfering all the goodies bags from 4th floor to the registration counter.

Brandon... thanks for making sure the website is in tip-top condition! And all the hard work done prior to this event.

Michelle... thanks for all the help and your contribution, especially on Saturday, back to the office to redo the descriptor, mounting, cutting, etc.

Rees... thanks for converting the Festiva TVC into mpeg file in such a short time... You did it eventually, my due respect given to you on that!!!

It was a really pleasant working experience with all of you in organizing this event.

Thanks again !

Rachel

Then Rees replied:

Dear Rachel,

Prior to an intensive brain hurting discussion with the rest of the people, we are, of course very glad that you would actually take your precious time off from singing in your desk, to write us such a nice e-mail. After much complains from "someone" who kept on saying that he did not get all the meals that he was promised earlier on that day, and you being as beautiful and kind-hearted as ever, it is hard to believe every single word that came out from his mouth that you actually lied to him. I mean, how can man? It's Rachel we are talking about, you know.

So in order to show to everyone that you are not the person that "someone" described earlier, I propose that you buy us lunch and/or dinner.

Don't get us wrong, we do not have the intention to freeload your money on food. Please bear in mind that we are all very nice people. The main USP of this e-mail and the lunch is about friendship, colleagueship and foodship.

We are all very nice people so do consider buying us lunch and/or dinner.

Thank you and appreciate your prompt, ASAP reply before 1 p.m.

Regards,
Rees Ho

And Rachel said:

Rees, thanks for all the "beautiful" words you used to describe me... Bro, you really make my day!!! Of course lunch is not a problem... let's make it today... You are right... the lunch is all about friendship, colleagueship... besides the point of extending my gratitude on all of your contribution towards the event.

I had a lotta fun during lunch...the guys were joking around as usual and on the way back to the office, Brandon offered to help me walk down a steep road as I was wearing high heels... aww... so sweet... he sorta held my hand for a brief moment... kekeke... I like him a lot... cuz he's such a gentleman... ;P

After lunch, I went to Uncle Hing's (the Creative Services Director) office to know more about production. And I learnt a lot about production... and I wrote down practically everything he said... kinda felt like a reporter cuz I asked him a lotta questions... hehehe... He was kind enough to answer all my questions and to show me his work... ;D

Brandon and I chatted online for a while after that... and then he asked me out for a dinner and movie next week... I'm so excited!!! I can't believe he asked me out... hahaha...
