I came to work today, all prepared to present my BIG idea to the Creative team at 10 a.m. However, some of the guys came late... so the meeting only started at 11 ish. I was in the pantry before that... eating muruku with Puven... kekeke... then James came in and we talked about scriptwriting for a while...
Each of us came out with new ideas for the Chinese New Year ad and Julian said my idea was good... but I needed to do some readjustments here and there. It's fine by me... =) So I've been rewriting the script for the rest of the day... while chatting online... hehehe..
I like the ideas that Lee, Wilson and Puven presented... their ideas are really good... much better than mine... but anywayz, we haven't decided on which plot to use yet... we need to use a holistic approach when we're thinking of a good concept because the concept has to be good enough to be applied in other types of media as well. When writing a TVC script, there has to be a turning point, a funny twist, and we need to build the characters in the plot... so that we would know which TVC talents to find when we are looking for talents that suit the personality of the characters.
During lunchtime, the guys "tapau-ed" back and ate in the conference room. Then Wilson and I started talking about keeping fit and eating healthily and going to the gym... hahaha... Halfway thru our convo, James put on a VCD. I thought it was a movie at first but it was "Saving Private Randy" ... kakakaka... the guys recorded it some years back... playing war games in the office... so funny... hehehe... they were holding fake guns and running around like kids... and they actually recorded the whole thing... kekeke...
After lunch, I started doing research on the Net for my script... and then I chatted with Puven (he's the Copywriter who sits next to me) bout The Exorcism Of Emily Rose and other horror movies... hehehe... we are big fans of horror movies... he also asked me a lotta questions about my family and all that... cuz he wanted to know what a typical Chinese family is like (he has to write his own script too) so that he could put that in his script. =D
I didn't see Brandon today... as we were both busy. I didn't see him yesterday either... but he was online at 10 ish last night and we chatted for almost 2 hours online... he viewed his webcam with me too. ;D He actually waited for me to come online... how sweet... I didn't know he was gonna be online... hehehe... He calls me "sweetie" now... hehehe... but we're not together yet... ;P
I chatted with Len Jin just before 5 p.m. at work today. As usual, he was being very mean, gross and abusive... hahaha... last night, I was teasing him that he always goes for pretty girls so he replied, "She's not that pretty also!!! *throws a durian at Michelle*" Kekeke... he always makes me laugh... love him so much... hehehe... He was telling me about a girl that he's currently in love with... I was the 1st to know, apparently. She's his junior in medical school... in India.

When I chatted with him today, he suddenly said, "YAY! I brightened someone's day!" and I said, "You are so mean... you can actually brightened someone's day wan ar? You brightened the devil's day with your evil deeds izzit?" And then he explained that he wrote someone a testimonial and that someone couldn't stop smiling... cheh... then I complained that he still hasn't written me a testimonial and he said, "Soon... soon.. you wait la..." Then I sarcastically said, "Yeah... yeah... when I'm 68, right?"
I made a comment that I would still look fabulous when I'm 68 years old and then he called me a vain pot!!! Ish!!! Then I put "MARK YEE LEN JIN!!! STOP saying that I'm vain!!! I'm not a vain pot!!! >.<" as my personal msg on MSN Messenger. And he put "MICHELLE KIRSTEN TAI, you are that VAIN!!!"
