26th Day Of Internship At Batey Ads

Since my internship started, today is by far the most unproductive day for me... I didn't do much today... cuz there was nothing for me to do. The whole agency seemed to be having a party... hypothetically of coz... =P

I did my internship report today... the case studies... I've just finished the 1st one. The 2nd one... which is supposed to be my OWN case study... erm... well, since the 2nd week of internship, I have asked a lotta ppl about incidents that have happened in the agency but they all said that politics are practically non-existent at Batey Ads.

Hmmm... let's see... the ppl that I asked were: Maryam Mazlan, Rachel Chan, Brandon Chan, Lee Yin Loon, Wilson Leong, Puven Chandran and James Tai. I talked to Lee today and I found out that he had been working at Batey Ads for 7 years and he never encountered any arguments or disagreements whatsoever. According to him, although most Creative ppl in other agencies are not in good terms with the Account Management ppl, it's a diff story altogether at Batey Ads. He said that maybe because Batey Ads is not a very big agency and they believe that working together in harmony can produce good results... and the Creative ppl do understand that the Account Management ppl are just liaisons between the clients and the agency. Thus, when the Creative ppl hafta alter any artwork, it is the client's demand and not the Client Servicing ppl.

Just before lunchtime, Ronnie Lim (Audio/Visual Director) announced that the 1st pre-production meeting for the TM Fixed Line TVC is at 6 p.m. sharp. But Ronnie and Lee assured me that it wasn't compulsory to attend. When Ronnie said that the meeting was gonna last for 3-4 hours, I told him that I would only attend the 2nd pre-production meeting, which is next Monday at 10 a.m. (according to Maryam).

I got harassed by Clifford today... *sobs* Hahaha... nah... he was just being his usual playful self... I was saving the pic of me taken after "The Girl From Ipoh" stage drama last Saturday night... and he suddenly appeared beside me peered at the pic. He kept asking in his sickly sweet, honeyed voice ("manja" tone) about where the pic was taken and stuff. When I pointed at my best friend, Priscilla Wong in the pic, he was like, "Hmm... not cute oso... you're cuter..." Then he winked at me... WTH... why has Clifford been flirting with me? Wahahaha... it's so weird... when I 1st met him, it was on the 3rd day of internship... and we went to the music video shoot together. He sent me home a coupla times but he never acted the way he did for the past week... hahaha... he's such a witty guy. Btw, he's a 30-something married guy... so pls dun think he's interested in me or anything.

Anywayz, he asked me where I was going tonight cuz he noticed that I was all dressed up so I said, "I got a date tonight and I'm going to Mid Valley Megamall." Then he and Puven started joking around, saying that they will purposely go there to "accidentally-on-purpose" bump into me and my date (they had no idea who I was going out with). Puven teased Clifford, saying that my date is definitely not him and then Clifford kept pestering me about who I was going there with. I didn't wanna lie and say "my boyfriend"... so I said, "If I tell you, then you might start a rumor..." Clifford and Puven looked at each other... and then Clifford said, "It depends who the guy is la..." and he winked at Puven. Oh well... *shrugs* Crazy ppl... kekeke... ;P
