And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
— Romans 8:28

"If God is so good, why does He allow evil?" This is always at the top of the list of questions about God, along with, "Why does God allow war or tragedy or injustice?" These very questions have a flawed premise: that we can determine what is good or not good about God. By asking these questions, we are really passing judgment on God.
Let's just take the basic question that presumes that if God is all-powerful, then He isn't loving. Or, maybe God is loving, but He isn't all-powerful. These assumptions place all responsibility for evil on God.
Yes, God could have made a world with no suffering, a world with no pain, a world in which we are all robots. But that is not what God wanted. He wanted us to make the choice ourselves whether to love Him, so He gave us free will.
When we look at many of the problems in our world today, we can place the blame not on God, but on man. God gave us standards to follow. He gave us laws to govern a society. But what does humanity do? It says we don't need God. And when we inevitably reap what we sow, we say that God blew it. But we really brought it on ourselves.
In spite of it all, we know that God answers prayer. Sometimes God can use our problems to bring us to Him. God can even use suffering in our lives.
The great hope we have as Christians is that one day, we will be in heaven with Him. So whatever suffering or trials you are facing right now, know that if you are a Christian, God has something good beyond this life for you.

A friend said this to me today:
To love someone unconditionally, you must give your heart completely to someone special when that person comes along but always remember that you must be willing to get hurt either by that person changing heart or by death. You are such a person. Very devoted. The next guy is very lucky to have you... seriously.
I usta quote this: I'm scared to fall in love... afraid to love so fast... cuz everytime I do, it seems to never last. But this friend of mine made me realize that it's better to love and lost than to never love at all... =) So I have no regrets in loving and letting you-know-who go... and I'll always cherish the sweet memories we made.
Btw, my sis-in-law, Li Li (as in, my eldest bro Kenneth's wife) is pregnant with her 2nd child!!! Woohoo!!! My cousin Aaron's wife, Joanna is also pregnant... with her 1st child!!! Aaron and Joanna got married last year... and I sang "Tian Tang" at their wedding... hehehe... ;P TWO babies to play with next year... awww... *melts* I absolutely adore babies... ^_^ Oh, I miss my lil' Princess Eunice (Kenneth and Li Li's daughter)... =) She turned 2 a few days ago... on Sept 8th. My heart melts everytime she calls me "koo cheh"... =D

Woman to woman encouragement
Someone will always be prettier.
They will always be smarter.
Their house will be bigger.
They will drive a better car.
Their children will do better in school.
Their husband will fix more things around the house.
So let it go, and love you and your circumstances.
Think about it.....
The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart.
The most highly favored woman on your job may be unable to
have children.
The richest woman you know -- she's got the car, the house, the
clothes - might be lonely.
So.......love yourself.
Love who you are right now.
Tell yourself "I am too blessed to be stressed."
"To the world you might be one person,
but to one person you may be his/her world".
i have sent :(
they dun spread like wild fire...unlike the 'missing' email..
